Good Samaritan Committee

“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world.
For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”
- Margaret Mead

If you are new to NSA, we would like to introduce you to the Good Samaritan Committee. The Committee began in November 2009 when a need from an NSA family presented itself. We felt in our hearts that the NSA community would willingly rally to help this particular family get through a tough time. The response was overwhelming, and the joy and peace of mind we brought to them was beyond description.

Since then, we have been fortunate enough to help a number of other families of both students and faculty, in ways both big and small, when they experience family needs like a serious medical situation or the death of a family member. Each situation is unique, and treated with discretion and care. We rely on the assistance of the staff, room parents and the entire NSA community to support our families. Over the years we have found that, without question, NSA has an enormously generous group of citizens with huge hearts!
