NSA Field Day

FIELD DAY INFORMATION

Grades K – 3 (Morning) | Grades 4 – 7 (Afternoon) | 8th Graders (Running Events)

Parents are invited to come cheer your student(s) on!

SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE

7:45 AM – 8:00 AM EARLY drop off / students proceed directly to classrooms

8:15 AM K – 3 Opening ceremonies (field in front of courtyard)

8:30 AM – 11:45 AM K-3 Events (snacks provided)

LUNCH

Full Day Kindergarten - 5th grade pizza lunch is provided. Students who do not what pizza will be able to order a sack lunch from DCSD Nutrition Services.
Grades 6th - 8th grade pizza lunch is provided. Students who do not want pizza will be able to order a sack lunch from DCSD Nutrition Services.

All half–day kindergarten classes will dismiss at 12:00 PM

12:00 PM 4 – 7 Opening ceremonies (field in front of courtyard)

12:15 PM – 3:15 PM grades 4 – 7 events (snacks provided)

3:30 PM Student dismissal (note extended time)

We have a VERY tight schedule. Please note the early drop-off and extended day for a later pick-up!

NINJA NATION

Parents will need to complete a release for your student(s) to participate in the Ninja Nation course. Ninja Nation will have a list of completed waivers. Students who do not have a release will not be able to participate in the Ninja Nation course.

Forms must be completed by Friday, May 16th!

IMPORTANT FIELD DAY INFORMATION

Students must wear closed-toed shoes to participate in all events.
Ninja Nation release must be completed by Friday, May 16th. If we do not have a completed release for your student, he/she will not be able to participate in the Ninja Nation course.
Please pay any outstanding student fees (if you did NOT pay your fees at the beginning of the year) for your student to participate.
Field day is a non-uniform school day. Students will be wearing ‘themed’ t-shirts (provided the morning of field day) and can wear shorts or athletic attire that meets our normal ‘dress of choice’ guidelines. Teachers will provide additional information regarding t-shirts.
K - 3 Bring a change of clothes and shoes. We have 'wet' events and students won't want to sit in wet clothes/shoes all day.
Students are NOT permitted to leave field day early for any reason other than an emergency.
Make sure that your student(s) have a water bottle.
Please apply sunscreen to your child(ren) prior to coming to school on field day.
