Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
April 21 - 25

We have a fantastic week lined up to celebrate and honor our wonderful NSA Teachers and Staff! They will be treated to breakfast, massages, snacks, and a catered lunch. As a part of this special week, we are inviting our NSA families to join us in making it extra memorable by participating in Flower Power on Tuesday, April 22 and Favorite Things on Thursday, April 24.

FLOWER POWER

We are asking students to bring in single-stem flowers for our wonderful NSA Teachers and Staff! Flower buckets will be in each teacher's classroom, and the cafeteria for other Teachers and Staff such as Spanish Teachers, Specials Teachers, Tutors, Front Office Staff, Administration, our Building Engineers, etc.

FAVORITE THINGS

We are asking families to help us spoil our teachers and staff by giving them gift cards to some of their favorite places!

INDIVIDUAL GIFT CARDS

- - Consider purchasing gift cards for teachers & staff, include a nice card, and place it in the Favorite Things bin in all homeroom teachers’ classrooms and staff offices.

KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES - please bring your favorite things gift cards in on Wednesday, April 23, due to incoming Kindergarten testing on April 24.

COLLECTIVE GIFT FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND OTHER TEACHERS & STAFF

As an easy and cost-effective way to pool money, you can donate money via PayPal. NSA will evenly distribute the funds within each designation and purchase gift cards for our Teachers and Staff and provide each with a list of all donors. Donations made for other teachers & staff will go towards the following departments: Specials teachers, Spanish Teachers, Admin, Student Support, Front Office, and Building Engineers.

A note to our Middle School Families: Since Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is happening later in the school year this time, we want to avoid requesting back-to-back donations. The collective gift will also cover any end-of-year contributions.

The deadline to donate is Thursday, April 17.
