Intent to Enroll Form

North Star Academy (NSA) is a public charter school (tuition free) in Douglas County, Colorado, and all enrollment policies follow state and federal guidelines for charter schools. Parents must request enrollment into NSA by filling out an online Intent to Enroll (ITE) form. Submitting this ITE does not obligate the student to attend NSA, nor does it guarantee admission.

To be considered for the 2027-2028 school year, Intent to Enroll forms must be submitted online by Friday, October 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Should a lottery be necessary for the 2027-2028 school year, it will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

The ITE is valid for a period of one year (one lottery cycle) from the date of submission. If enrollment is not offered during this one-year period, a new ITE must be submitted for enrollment consideration in future years.

Future School Years
NSA accepts ITEs January - October 30 of year prior. If you are a new family and interested in having your child attend NSA in future years, we will follow the procedure outlined in our enrollment policy.
