PLAYGROUND FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE 

North Star Academy has formed a Playground Fundraising Committee to assist in raising the funds necessary to upgrade NSA's playground. NSA's addition and remodel are underway, and we'll be breaking ground in the Spring of 2009.  To complement our newly remodeled school, we would like to provide the students with a wonderful new playground.  Check back frequently to see how you can get involved in helping us achieve our goal. 

NSA has many friends who have left their marks on our school in many ways!  One of our anonymous friends has pledged $10,000 to see to it that our playground becomes a reality. 

A BIG THANK YOU to those families who have made pledges to our Playground Fund totaling $4,565!  We are getting closer to our goal!

NSA's 'Buy-A-Brick' program has produced a stunning profit for our Playground Fund -- $16,282.75!!!  Thank you to everyone who has left their imprint on our playground and on North Star Academy. 

Thanks to all our NSA Families that ate at Chick-Fil-A during our last Spirit Night!  We made another $314.54 for our Playground Fund!!!  And a big CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Hennigan's class who won the Classroom Contest.  They will receive a FREE lunch courtesy of Chick-Fil-A!!!

We did it AGAIN!  We gave Noodles in Parker the BIGGEST Spirit Night they've ever had!  They want NSA'ers back for another Spirit Night SOON!  NSA'ers ate their way through $3169.92 of pasta, and netted our Playground Fund $792.48!  Thank you to all our volunteers that handed out flyers to non-NSA'ers, and to all our families that participated!  Watch our Playground Fund Thermometer GROW!!!

NSA'ers ate their way through $3,570 worth of steak and potatoes at our Texas Roadhouse fundraiser!  That's another $357 towards our Playground Fund!   Thank you to all NSA families and friends who supported this event!!

In spite of the cold, snowy weather, we had a great showing at the Chick-fil-A Playground Fundraiser and raised $489 for our playground fund!  Thank you to Chick-fil-A in Parker and to all our NSA families for their support!   

The Book Fair generated $12,200 in sales !!!  NSA will receive 30% or $3,660 profit to go toward our Playground Fund.  Thank you to Jennifer Smith for organizing this event and to all the parents and students who have purchased books!!!
